Selected Work: Climate Youth Resilience Digital Platform & Ambassador Portal

Area of Work: Platforms & Youth-Focused Initiatives
Year: 2024 - ongoing

The Context and Purpose of Climate Youth Resilience Digital Platform & Ambassador Portal

Climate Youth Resilience required a digital platform capable of supporting a distributed global youth ambassador programme alongside a public-facing research and engagement website. The initiative combined climate learning, leadership development, and participation infrastructure across multiple regions.

The platform needed to support programme visibility, structured learning pathways, cohort management, and long-term participation beyond a single intake cycle.

IHA designed and implemented a structured digital environment consisting of:

  • public programme website
  • ambassador application pipeline
  • cohort selection workflows
  • learning portal environment
  • resource hub architecture
  • CRM-supported participation tracking

The platform was designed to function simultaneously as:

programme infrastructure
learning environment
research dissemination layer
community participation space

  • Brand identity
  • Custom illustrations and artwork
  • Website design and build
  • Custom PDF Experience
  • Ambassador Portal and application workflow
  • CRM integration
  • Programme participation environment
  • Research and resource hub structuring
  • Global cohort delivery support
  • Over 9,000 sessions recorded in the first year
  • 6,700 engaged users globally
  • 900 ambassador applications received
  • 90 ambassadors selected into the programme
  • 30 ambassadors completed the facilitated learning cycle (May–Nov 2025)
  • The platform continues to support future cohorts and programme expansion.

Reflections and Learnings for Climate Youth Resilience Digital Platform & Ambassador Portal

The project demonstrated how participation platforms can function as programme infrastructure rather than communications layers. The ambassador portal supported both structured facilitation and distributed engagement across multiple time zones while maintaining continuity between cohorts.
